Laurie has lived along the Emerald Coast all her life. She attended Florida State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Taking the advice of her mother, a teacher of thirty years, Laurie began a career in real estate and joined Keller Williams Realty Emerald Coast. Laurie comments that she feels honored to be one of the founding members at the Destin office of Keller Williams Realty Emerald Coast, the last ten years have been the most rewarding and interesting years of her life. With constant changes in the Real Estate business Laurie feels it is necessary to stay on top of the latest innovations in technology and business. Laurie has been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Fewer than 4% or 38,000 of the active real estate sales associates and brokers in the United States have earned this credential. Laurie Hollowell ranks in the top 1% of closed volume among sales associates with Keller Williams Realty Emerald Coast for the year ending 2007. Home buyers and sellers can be assured that CRS Designees subscribe to the strict realtor code of ethics, have access to the latest technology and are specialists in helping customers maximize profits and minimize costs when buying and selling real estate. | Hey, my name is Katie Sterner. I am the full time executive assistant for The Laurie Hollowell Team. I highly enjoy working in the office with Laurie and I take pride in our work.I am also enrolled full time at the local college, Northwest Florida State; I am studying Human Resource Management but am still not sure what exactly I want to do with my future. As for now, I am more than happy working in real estate and am giving serious thought into becoming an agent at some point in my future. I have been living in the Destin area for two years. I moved here from Cleveland, Ohio after I graduated high school. I have three wonderful brothers and great parents that have raised me to be responsible and have kept me strong.
